It was all about reptiles today in Kindergarten! The Audubon Society visited us and brought slippery friends. So cool!
Kindergarten had lots of fun, learning about the five senses from the Audubon Society! Many thanks for their visit to our school.
Our Safety Patrol program is back! Our fifth graders are assisting with safety in our hallways at arrival/dismissal time, as well as learning about proper flag handling. We are proud of the 14 students that were selected to lead our team.

Thank you to the Andrew family, for sharing two-week-old lambs, Elsa, Anna and Olaf, with us, along with a sweet baby calf. Our kindergarten students have been studying farm animals so this was an amazing way to bring the real world to them. What fun!
In honor of World Kindness Day, our South Jefferson community raised $850 for Jefferson County’s Relay for Life! Wow!! Thank you to the awesome SJES family! 💜 Ms. Mahoney
