South Jefferson 3rd graders had a blast learning about the elements of flight on their latest field trip to iFly Loudoun. Each student had the opportunity to take part in hands-on activities that incorporated math, physics and discovery. The highlight of the field trip was getting the opportunity to experience flight in the tunnel, assisted by the instructor, and soaring to 15 feet in the tunnel. Such a cool experience for our students and one we hope to continue in the future. Thank you to our PTO for the awesome suggestion and financial support! What a field trip to remember!
